Scholarly Stretch & Innovation

All-round Development

Culture of Ambition & Happiness

Welcome to Loughborough Grammar School

At Loughborough Grammar School, we recognise that education transforms lives. Our students truly enjoy the best of both worlds: more than 500 years of specialism in boys’ education within a dynamic, inclusive co-educational campus shared with our neighbouring all-girls school.

Our principal focus is to provide an exceptional education, underpinned by a happy, aspirational ethos.  We value tradition while inspiring innovation. The richly diverse array of opportunities to excel at LGS enables every student to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Academic fulfilment, individual growth and a commitment to service are hallmarks of a Loughborough Grammar education. Passions and interests are nurtured and shaped, whether in sports, adventurous outdoor education, creative arts or in the competitive arena. What sets this unique community of communities apart is a collective spirit of mutual respect and an ethos that promotes responsibility, leadership, and being a part of something larger than oneself – within the school and in the world beyond.

We set the bar high in terms of ambition, and our boys deliver year-after-year. They go on to achieve brilliant things. More importantly, they go on to be brilliant people.

Please browse our website to find out more about our School.  Nothing matches visiting us in person and we encourage you to attend one of our recruitment events or arrange a private visit to see for yourself what makes our community so special.
