A Journey of Growth and Self-Discovery

We believe that co-curricular activities are a vital part of a boy’s education. While academic success opens doors, it is often the experiences beyond the classroom that give our pupils the confidence, character and skills to step through those doors and flourish in life.

Our structured co-curricular programme ensures that every boy is actively involved in meaningful opportunities that support his personal development. Whether through sport, creativity, leadership or service, boys are challenged, supported and encouraged to grow into well-rounded individuals.

A Co-curricular Programme that Builds Skills for Life

At all levels there are compulsory elements of public speaking, working in groups. entrepreneurship and self-directed projects. Boys are given genuine responsibility and allowed to succeed and fail. Most importantly, they then reflect and look at how they move on. We value that each boy is an individual, so the structure is not prescriptive. With over 160 clubs and societies they can find what they enjoy and we ensure they get the most out of it.

Years 6 to 8

Boys also take part in Thursday enrichment afternoon.

For Year 12 – 13, they have 26 activities they can choose from for Thursday afternoon enrichment, under the themes Service, Business, Creative, STEM, Academic and Support. Some examples include Combined Cadet Force, Voluntary Service Unit, Elite Sports or Music, Oxbridge Maths, Mandarin and Engineering.
