We believe that co-curricular activities are a vital part of a boy’s education. While academic success opens doors, it is often the experiences beyond the classroom that give our pupils the confidence, character and skills to step through those doors and flourish in life.
Our structured co-curricular programme ensures that every boy is actively involved in meaningful opportunities that support his personal development. Whether through sport, creativity, leadership or service, boys are challenged, supported and encouraged to grow into well-rounded individuals
A Journey of Growth and Self-Discovery
Our co-curricular programme is designed to support each stage of a boy’s journey through the school. As they progress, boys are encouraged to reflect on who they are, learn to value their unique strengths, and prepare to contribute meaningfully to the wider world.
Each stage has a dedicated scheme that is monitored and supported through form time and tutor guidance.

Building Skills for Life
At all levels there are also compulsory elements of public speaking, working in groups. entrepreneurship and self-directed projects. Boys are given genuine responsibility and allowed to succeed and fail. Most importantly, they then reflect and look at how they move on. We value that each boy is an individual, so the structure is not prescriptive. With over 150 clubs and societies they can find what they enjoy and we ensure they get the most out of it.
For more detailed information, each department and school area has its own ‘pathway’, outlining the range of co-curricular and extension opportunities available at every stage.
