Loughborough Schools Foundation is proud to announce that PE teacher, Mr Tom Halfhide has been selected to represent England in the 2025 Men’s Netball Nations Series in Singapore – an exceptional achievement for an athlete who first picked up the sport just over two years ago.

Tom, who also coaches netball at @lborofairfield and @lborohigh, as well as within the Loughborough Lightning pathway, received the wonderful news earlier this month. His selection follows a remarkable rise through the sport, built on determination, natural athleticism, and an impressive breadth of multi-sport experience.

Our KS3 and KS4 teams at @lborogrammar and @lborohigh achieved some fantastic results at the Leicestershire Swim Championships last week. The Grammar School`s KS4 team and the High School`s KS3 team both came first in their category, qualifying for the regionals in the New Year. Well done to all pupils who swam in this week`s competition!

Yesterday, 80 of our Year 7 boys did the annual Santa Fun Run! The run is a great way to get the boys involved in a fun and meaningful challenge as well as keeping them active in the festive season! The boys raised money in aid of  @rainbowshospice for Children and Young People , a charity LSF has worked with for many years that supports local children in the East Midlands.
