Tour & Lunch
We are delighted to invite families considering Loughborough Grammar School to our Tour and Lunch event on Wednesday 19 November 2025.
This special morning offers parents and their sons the chance to experience what makes life at LGS so distinctive — from our inspiring teaching and welcoming community to the breadth of opportunities available both in and beyond the classroom.
What to Expect
During your visit, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of our beautiful campus, see lessons in action, and meet the people who make LGS such a vibrant place to learn — our pupils and staff. The event provides an ideal opportunity to ask questions, gain genuine insight into daily life here, and imagine your son’s future as part of our school community.
Morning Schedule
- 9.45am – Arrival and Coffee
Begin your visit with coffee and a warm welcome from members of staff, along with displays showcasing life at LGS. - 10.00am – Welcome Address
Hear from the Headmaster, followed by an introduction to the morning from Mr Parton, our Head of Year 7. - 10.15am – Guided Tours
Explore the campus alongside our enthusiastic Year 8 pupils, who will share their own experiences of joining LGS. - 11.45am – Q&A Session
Return for a short Q&A with the Headmaster and Senior Leadership Team. - 12.15pm – Lunch
Enjoy lunch in Burton Hall, where you can chat informally with staff and learn more about life at LGS. Information packs will also be available as you leave. - 12.45pm – Event Concludes
