What is the exam board and the route?
A Level Spanish AQA (7692)
Subject Entry Requirements: Grade 7 in GCSE Modern Foreign Languages advised.

In Spanish A Level, we build on the grammar and vocabulary learnt at GCSE and gain a greater understanding of Spain and the wider Hispanic world, including the study of a film (Maria Full of Grace/María, Llena Eres De Gracia) and a novel (Chronicle of a Death Foretold). There is also individual research on a topic related to the Hispanic world, worth 70% of the speaking exam.
How is the course assessed?
Three exams:
Two written papers: listening and reading and writing – 2 hours and 30 minutes (50%);
Writing (film/novel) – 2 hours (20%);
Spoken exam: – 25 minutes (30%).
