✨ We’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new website, created in partnership with Rock Kitchen Harris (@rkhleicester)!
You might have noticed the images we've used are quite different. As part of our ongoing commitment to pupil wellbeing and safety, we’ve chosen to move away from using close-up, full-face images of pupils on our public platforms. This allows us to continue celebrating their successes while also protecting them from the growing risk of image misuse.
The launch also marks the introduction of our refreshed branding. With accessibility at the forefront, our updated logo now features a clearer, more modern and readable font.
Please take a moment to explore our new site.

We are delighted to share that one of our Year 13 pupils has recently received the Charnwood Community Heroes 'Young Hero' award for the impact his volunteering work has had on the local community. Mo's work with John Storer House saw him volunteer at local residential homes to set up games, serve refreshments and assist the staff. Through volunteering, Mo put smiles on many of the residents' faces and we are proud to recognise the difference he has made to those around him.

Combining classroom Chemistry with the pursuit of a PhD qualification, Dr Jamie Webb joined LGS in September 2024. Prior to beginning his teaching career, Dr Webb spent more than four years as a PhD Researcher in the Chemistry Department at Loughborough University.
Bringing this wealth of practical knowledge and experience to the subject, alongside his influence in the co-curricular life of the School, his work supports pupils not just academically but also to develop their sense of character and resilience beyond the classroom.
