Year 8 and Year 9 Drama pupils from @lborohigh and @lborogrammar enjoyed a visit from the Theatre Centre performing My Brother's a Genius. It explores themes of neuro diversity, family and being a teenager. Combining poetry, grime and dance, this explosive new play took them through family struggles, neurodiversity and the weight of expectations. It’s a story about learning to fall, fail and find our own ways to fly.

"The occasional boarding experience was very well organised and felt completely safe and secure. Mr Blackman (Housemaster of Denton house) contacted me in advance and talked me through everything, from the evening timeline, where the boys would be sleeping - I was welcome to view the room beforehand if I wanted - food for the evening and for breakfast, and the planned activities. My son's phone and iWatch were taken away at about 21:00, and they had lights out at 21:30, and he even had his games kit washed ready for morning football club 🙌." - Parent

Did you know? We offer the opportunity for our pupils to experience life in our vibrant Boarding Houses. Whether it’s for a special event, late co-curricular activity, help with family logistics, or simply a chance to enjoy the independence and camaraderie of boarding life, occasional boarding is a fantastic way for pupils to enjoy a taste of life in School House or Denton House.

We've witnessed some great success on the football field recently as both our U15 and U18 teams are through to the ISFA Mercian League Final! Both teams played excellently, demonstrating the techniques and skills they've been developing on the pitch and are now preparing for the finals which will take place in April.
